  Black Dog Books

Black Dog Books was set up in 1996 by Peter Tolhurst, initially as a self-publishing venture, and has quickly established a reputation as one of East Anglia's leading independent publishers, specializing in Literature and the Arts, often with a strong sense of place. Published works include short story anthologies, country essays and studies of individual 20th Century writers and painters.
Titles in preparation include new works by the author of Akenfield, Ronald Blythe, a third volume of East Anglian short stories, an anthology of rural essays with a foreword by Richard Mabey and an illustrated volume of Virginia Woolf's travel writing.
